Injured at Orbiter
At least two children were rushed to the hospital on Friday night after riding the “Orbiter ride” at the Berlin Fair (Germany).
The fire marshal shut down the ride after some parents complained that the safety bar latch did not work on the ride, and the children were being thrown about.
One mother speaks: “My son was at a hospital undergoing a CT scan because he was thrown around in the ride.” Another mother claimed that her son received similar injuries. Both boys were not riding on the same time.
State officials inspected the ride and could not find any problems. But the ride will remain closed until another inspection can occur.
