Universal Studios Singapore

Singaporeans and visitors can look forward to a new Universal Studios theme park with at least 16 customised attractions at Sentosa if Genting international-Star Cruises consortium lands the integrated resort project there.
The bidder says the physical design of Universal Studios Singapore will be larger then the one in Hollywood. Dubbing it a “first-of-its kind theme park in Asia”, the resort operator estimates the park will draw over fine million visitors each year.
Some 1 billion $ will be invested to build Universal Studios Singapore which will include 6 themed areas encircling a lagoon, as well as new rides based on movies like Madagascar, King Kong, Revenge of the Mummy and Waterworld.
There will be live entertainment shows and educational features about computer-generated animation and the art of making a hit movie.
