Woody for Valleyfair

Valleyfair has announced it will build €5 million wooden coaster for the 2007 season. It will be the seventh coaster in the park, and the first made of wood since the High Roller.

The ride, called “Renegade” was designed by Great Coasters international Inc. It’s described as a “world class” coaster that combines the best features of wooden coasters.

Work on the ride will begin as soon as permission to build is granted by the city. Wood and other materials have already been delivered to the amusement park. The public can observe the construction on valleyfair.com
